My name is pooja and I work as a pediatric neuropsychologist in Chicago.
I started Rahul Sir’s class with my mom who was a student of his for a long time. My mom had experienced a lot of positive changes after starting class and that was my main motivation to start. After the birth of my son, I wanted to focus on my mental well being and build my immunity as well as overall health. Over the last few years that I have been doing Pranayama with Rahul sir, I see a significant positive difference in my mental health (less anxiety, less depressive episodes) due to the meditation that sir has taught us. I also see a huge change in my ability to focus and concentrate and also my stamina has been improved a lot after starting Pranayama. My posture has improved as well.
Pranayama has many benefits beyond the physical yoga class in what I have experienced. It not only works on your physical well being, your mental power and also your mental health. The meditative aspect of pranayama and the breathing work is immensely helpful and feels like a workout as well as a méditative session. I would highly recommend this class to everyone.
Rahul sir is a wonderful teacher, who teaches with a lot of patience and supports you in your journey to reach the goals you have in this class. He also tailors the class to suit your level and any health conditions you have. He also is always approachable and accessible if you have doubts and need practice.
